I’m happy to launch a new series, Coffee Connection. I’ll be showcasing interesting New Orleans coffee shops and give you a peek behind the doors. The focus will be on shops that not only make a frothy latté but also provide a great experience.
As more and more of us work from home, neighborhood coffee shops help expand our “office” giving us a chance to interact with fellow humans.
First up – Revelator Coffee Company at 737 Tchoupitoulas in the Warehouse District. I love the blue doors and white brick.
Once inside, you’ll appreciate the clean, fresh, and open space.
The star of the show is the Slayer Espresso Machine – it gives baristas full control to create the perfect cup for you. I really never give much thought to espresso machines but you can tell this beauty means business.
Revelator Coffee started in Birmingham, Alabama and that’s where their coffee beans are roasted. They source their beans directly from farmers when they can and they modify their coffee offerings based on the season so you get the freshest cup.
Revelator Coffee focuses on mastering the art of Southern Hospitality and they do a pretty good job!
